The 2010 summer has been one to remember for basketball fans and sports fans alike. Los Angeles' famous 37th Annual Drew League hosted by Dino Smiley in partnership with Hank Salvator, in the heart of Watts, capped off this past weekend with a Championship to remember. Top Prospect pulled it off with an electrifying victory over New Image, 99-92.. Brandon Bowman made player of the game honors with; 20 pts 10rebs 7blks 2stls.
Brandon Bowman aka BoBo, a graduate of Westchester HS and former basketball stand out at Georgetown University [ranked #4 all-time players to have ever played at Georgetown], is an extraordinary talent whom of which may be one Euro stand out season away from a major NBA contract. BoBo has already had short stints with NBA teams such as; New Jersey Nets, New Orleans Hornets and the Philadelphia 76ers. This Santa Monica native is determined to be the most dominant Euro-League player this upcoming 2010-2011 season and seasons to come.. With a 6'9 205lbs frame, he has the dribbling and scoring ability of NBA legends and with his determination and drive it is only a matter of time before he's dazzling NBA fans as well as other competing NBA athletes the same.
With the summers culmination of basketball leagues in the Los Angeles area, players are shaping up to report to their respective teams. BoBo has spent the past 3 seasons playing overseas for Germany, Turkey and will begin this season playing in Bulgaria.
